About Purt Support

Purt Support is a process support firm based in Yorkshire that helps organisations make expensive, repetitive processes faster, cheaper and less frustrating, using the tools their teams already have (often Excel and Google Sheets) alongside easy-to-use AI, built with the client’s own team.
Purt Support is led by Alex Lancaster, who has spent more than ten years working with organisations on their data, their reporting and the systems behind them: the monthly reports, the reconciliations, the spreadsheets that hold everything together. That work shows the same thing again and again. The expensive processes are rarely the complicated ones. They're the ordinary ones: the task that takes a day because it's always taken a day, done by someone whose time could go on the work that matters most.
Purt Support exists to fix those.
Four things shape how we work
We build it with your team.
The people who do the work steer the tool, in discovery and every time we show them progress. They understand it, they trust it, and they can change it when the business changes.
We share everything as we go.
There's nothing clever hidden inside what we build. Your team is more than capable of running it, and everything is built so they can.
We keep it simple.
You don't need to know loads about computers or have an IT team. If it can be done well with the tools you already have, that's where we do it.
We don't tie you in.
The job is to build the tool and train your team to run it. Once that's done, there's nothing to renew and you'll never need us just to keep it working. We think that's fairer.
The same approach serves a two-site manufacturer and a one-person trade. A larger engagement is just more processes and more people involved; a small project gets exactly the same care. Charities, CICs and other not-for-profits pay a charity rate because the work matters just as much and the budgets are tighter.
If something in your organisation is taking longer than it should, tell us about it. We'll give you an honest view of whether we can help.
What's taking up your time?
Tell us the process that takes the most time or causes the most frustration. We'll come back with an honest view of whether we can help.
