This site is run by Purt Support Ltd (company no. 16027781, registered office Unit 8, Market Weighton Business Centre, Market Weighton, YO43 3GL).

What we collect

When you use the contact form we receive your name, email address, organisation and whatever you write in the message. We use these only to reply to you and, if you become a client, to deliver the work. We don't add you to a mailing list.

Analytics and cookies

This site uses no analytics and sets no tracking cookies. The contact form is protected from spam by our hosting provider's filter and a hidden field that only automated bots fill in. No cookies are set for this.

Where it goes

This site is hosted by Netlify, which also handles the contact form. When you submit the form, your details are stored in our Netlify account, checked for spam by Akismet (a filtering service run by Automattic), and emailed to us. Netlify and Automattic are based in the United States, so your data may be processed there, under the safeguards UK data protection law requires. Like any website host, Netlify keeps standard server logs, including visitors' IP addresses, for a short period for security and reliability. We don't sell your details or share them with anyone else.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't lead to work are deleted within 12 months, from our email and from Netlify. Client records are kept for as long as we work together and for six years afterwards for accounting purposes.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@purt.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
